Editing & Author Support
For Writers Who Want Honest, Smart Feedback
You don’t need another vague compliment. You need someone who sees what you’re trying to do—and helps you get it there. I specialize in structural edits, deep character work, and creative clarity for fiction, memoir, hybrid, and experimental projects.
Limited availability per quarter.
Sample Feedback Call
This session is for writers who want to take the temperature of their work—or explore the possibility of working together on a deeper edit.
You’ll send up to 10 double-spaced pages before our call. During the session, we’ll talk through what’s landing, what feels murky or out of step, and what your work is asking for. This is not line editing. It’s big-picture, structural feedback that focuses on emotional movement, clarity, narrative architecture, and voice.
-
Fiction, memoir, personal essays, hybrid, or experimental prose
Work in the early, rough, or middle stages
Writers who want honest insight from someone who knows how to hold messy drafts
-
Pre-read of up to 10 pages
45-minute 1:1 Zoom call
Verbal feedback and discussion
Optional recommendations for next steps
Story Development Session
A one-hour session to talk through your creative work-in-progress—whatever shape it’s currently in. This could be an outline, a few rough chapters, a pile of notes, or something you’re halfway into and losing sight of.
You’ll send your materials in advance (up to ~20 pages, or the equivalent in rough form), and we’ll spend our time making sense of what’s there—what’s working, what’s circling something important, and where the deeper shape might be trying to emerge. This is editorial support for the messy middle.
We’ll focus on structure, tension, voice, and intention—but we’ll also talk about what kind of story you’re trying to tell, and what would help you tell it more clearly, powerfully, or authentically.

Full Developmental Editing
This is a full developmental edit for writers who are deep into a draft—or circling one that’s ready to take shape. I work closely with you to understand what your project is trying to become, and offer clear, honest, structurally-focused feedback to help it get there.
This is not about sanding off the edges. It’s about clarity, depth, emotional resonance, and voice—about helping you write the book you are meant to write, not just the one the market expects.
I only take on a limited number of full edits per quarter, and every project starts with either a Story Feedback Session or a Creative Fit Call. This ensures we’re a good match creatively, and helps me understand where the work is and what kind of support it needs. If you’ve booked a session already, part of that fee can be credited toward your full edit.
